Message From the President
Dear Friends of Theta Kappa,
We were so excited to start off 2022 by introducing 64 New Members to our chapter. They are such a unique and well-rounded group of individuals, and we are proud to call them sisters for life.
Our chapter could not have asked for a better 2021. Our successes were abundant and diverse in their sources: philanthropy, academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, and sisterhood. We raised money for our philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, thanks to events such as Delta's Walks, Delta Dodgeball, Delta’s Candy Bar, and our Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign. We are thrilled to have helped Tri Delta's national goal of raising $60 million in just 6 years. Theta Kappa also had 24 women earning 4.0 GPAs during the 2022 Spring semester, and our members helped maintain the impressive GPA Tri Delta has historically been known for on SMU’s campus. Not only do we love our academics, but we are also represented in over 110 clubs and organizations around campus. These include Student Foundation, Student Senate, the Alternative Asset Management Center, Program Council, Mustang Heroes, Panhellenic Council, Relay for Life, SMU Look, and many more incredible campus organizations. Also, we have sisters on SMU's Division 1 soccer and equestrian teams. We are all so impressed and proud of all the hard work our sisters put into Tri Delta while continuing to do what they love!
We are so excited for all the incredible events and wonderful memories that will be made this upcoming school year during football games in Ford Stadium, Family Weekend, and the homecoming parade.
I, along with my 163 sisters, cannot wait to see what the rest of 2022 has in store for us!
Delta Love and Mine,
Maddie Frederick
